Scottsdale Insurance Company Names Ken Levine Vice President and Chief Actuary


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Scottsdale Insurance Company, the fourth-largest excess and surplus insurer in the country, recently named Ken Levine Vice President of Actuarial and Chief Actuary. Levine replaces John Zicarelli, who has taken on the recently created position of Vice President of Strategy and Risk Management.

Levine spent 12 years as an actuary in the insurance industry before joining SIC in 1996. He became a member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1994, achieved his Fellow of the Casualty Actuary Society (FCAS) designation in 1996 and earned his BS in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
