ATLANTA, Feb. 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines on Sunday will suspend all flight operations at some Northeast airports and limit operations at other Mid-Atlantic airports in advance of significant winter weather expected in this region. Tomorrow Delta will cancel all arrivals and departures at:

Customers booked on flights traveling to, from or through select cities in the Northeast may make adjustments to their travel schedule due to the impact of major winter storms.

Customers who purchased a ticket by Feb. 10, 2006, and are scheduled to travel Feb. 10-12, 2006, to, from or through select cities on Delta, Song(r), or Delta Connection(r), or Delta-coded flights, may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by Feb. 16, 2006, and travel begins on or before Feb. 16, 2006. Changes to origins and destinations may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking.

Customers whose flights are cancelled may request refunds. All customers are encouraged to visit delta.com for the latest news on the winter storm, in addition to their local airport's web site, prior to departure.
