Bilia has completed its negotiations with Tronrud Holding AS relating to the acquisition of all the shares in Tronrud Bil Holding AS. Bilia will assume ownership of the company today.
Tronrud is the largest BMW dealer in Norway and also sells Ford, Mini, Honda and Nissan. Operations are run at eight dealerships, turnover totals around SEK 850 M and the company has 150 employees.
As a result of this deal, Bilia’s balance-sheet total is expected to increase by approximately SEK 244 M. The Bilia Group’s result before tax and acquisition costs for 2006 is expected to be affected positively by around SEK 10 M.
