Lindal Cedar Homes' Founder Visits Their California Dealer to Applaud 10 Years of Service

SILVERADO, Calif., Feb. 22, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Lindal Cedar Homes, the leading provider of custom cedar post and beam homes since 1945, has launched a Founders Circle for its dealer representatives. Lindal Founder, Sir Walter Lindal, will be visiting dealers around the United States and plans to visit a Silverado, California dealer this Saturday, February 25, to deliver an award for being a top dealer for the company.

The Founders Circle is a series of monthly visits to Lindal Cedar Homes' top producers, with Sir Walter the company founder as the guest of honor at a Model Home open house. Linda Gottlieb of Quest Cedar Homes and Sunrooms of Silverado, Calif. will be presented an award for her ten years of service and as a top producer of Lindal Cedar Homes for 2005. Quest Cedar Homes has also received recognition for being members of Lindal's President's Club, as a top dealer in sales, as well as acknowledgment in Lindal's Premier Club. This year, Quest Cedar Homes became a Diamond Dealer that designates elite status within Lindal. On Saturday February 25, Lindal will present Quest Cedar Homes with a plaque acknowledging membership into the Founder's Circle. Past Lindal and potential future homeowners have been invited to help celebrate. This open house event will be held at the Quest Cedar Model Home in Silverado, California.

"We attribute our success to a variety of factors," said Linda Gottlieb, owner of Quest Cedar Homes. "First, is that since many of our homeowners are leaving California for a more relaxed lifestyle, we have partnered with many other Lindal dealers to provide a seamless way for our homeowners to relocate. We have worked with customers who have built as faraway as Ohio, New York, and Oregon. Second, is our first hand experience with the custom home process. And third is our knowledge of local codes and the fire safe requirements being levied by the Building departments in California. We are currently helping three survivors of the 2004 fires rebuild their homes."

Over the past 61 years, Lindal Cedar Homes has been known for its adventurous customers and custom home designs. Lindal Cedar Homes is known around the world and has grown from a small business in 1945 to more than 200 employees and over 150 independent dealers in the United States, Canada, Japan and many other countries. With thousands of homes under their belt and 21 patents, the Seattle-based company is recognizing dealer representatives who have been top producers of the Lindal product line. 61 years later Sir Walter Lindal still serves on the board of his company and is in his office everyday, working on new product development.
