(OTCBB:SMGY), inventor and manufacturer of the innovative Battery Brain(tm) automotive aftermarket device, today announced the opening of a new research and development center at Petach Tikva, Israel. Leading the new facility is Tamir Levinas, a highly experienced technology specialist and technical team leader who currently is an International Technology Consultant with Smart Energy Solutions and serves on the board of directors of the company.
Levinas, assumes the title of Director of R&D, will oversee the day-to-day operations of Smart Energy Solutions' new center as well as continuing to be the International Technology Consultant. Levinas previously served as head of the technical department for Internet Gold (Nasdaq:IGLD), one of Israel's first Internet service providers and a leader in the fields of Internet Access, e-content/e-advertising, e-commerce, search and VoIP-based telephony.
