The all African-American owned business is run by: Dr. Raquel Gordon, chairman; Mrs. Stephanie Randle, president and CEO; and their respective husbands, Mr. Jeff Gordon, executive vice president and chief financial officer; and Mr. Darryn Randle, executive vice president and chief technical officer. The four co-founded the almost $3 million company in 2003.
"In addition to providing great customer service, we started with a vision of taking what we learned from working in the government, private and military sectors, and simply wanted to do it better," said Mrs. Randle, "that mix of talent has equaled bottom line success for SIS."
Mrs. Randle earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from North Carolina A & T State University and a master's degree in technical management from Johns Hopkins University. Mrs. Randle's brings nineteen years of experience in operations management, budgeting and general organizational development. Mrs. Randle also directs quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
"As SIS moves forward, we focus on three areas: customer-focused solutions, maintaining a small business culture, and managing growth for the long haul," said Dr. Gordon. Dr. Gordon earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Hampton University; and her Master's degree and doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. With seven years business experience and twelve years of psychological and human interaction expertise, her knowledge of industrial/organizational concepts provides SIS with documented successful organizational standards.
