First Horizon Bank Celebrates Saint Patrick's Day With 'Pot of Gold' Promotion

Eight Mid-Atlantic First Horizon ATMs Randomly Surprise Users With Some Extra 'Green'

MCLEAN, Va., March 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Do you have the luck of the Irish? First Horizon Bank, a full-service financial services company, today announced the start of a 14-day promotion in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day. The "Pot of Gold" promotion, running March 3 through Saint Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17, 2006, offers users of the bank's mid-Atlantic automated teller machines (ATMs) a chance to receive a $20, $50 or even $100 bill instead of the $10 or $20 bill they expect. Only the amount originally requested for withdrawal will be deducted from the account.

"We are excited about this promotion as consumers celebrate the time-honored holiday of Saint Patrick's Day with a chance to find a 'Pot of Gold'," stated Terrie G. Spiro, mid-Atlantic regional president of First Horizon Bank. "First Horizon offers our clients All Things Financial, and this promotion is a great opportunity to remind consumers that First Horizon account holders enjoy totally free usage of other banks' ATMs."

$20, $50 and $100 bills will be placed randomly in the ATMs in place of the normal $10s and $20s, dispensing small "Pots of Gold" to lucky users. All area First Horizon ATMs are stocked to offer "Pots of Gold" of varying amounts during the promotion, creating the opportunity for more than 100 different winners.
