Academy's Casanova Wins the Vans Cup Rail Jam at Northstar at Tahoe


SAN DIEGO, March 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Academy Snowboards, a division of Execute Sports, Inc. (OTCBB:EXCS) announced today that Mike Casanova won the Rail Jam at the Vans Cup at Northstar at Tahoe on March 3, collecting prize money of $15,000. Casanova also took 8th place in the Men's Slopestyle event. Academy's 17 year-old Jonas Michilot took 4th place at the Rail Jam event.

The Vans Cup at Tahoe will air on Fox Sports Net in two parts at 3 p.m. April 28 and May 5, with re-broadcasts on May 12 and May 19.

Academy is sending three of its team riders, Chad Otterstrom (2005 Transworld Rider of the Year), Mike Casanova and Matt Peterson to Japan to compete in the third stop of the Triple Crown in the Toshiba Slopestyle ALTS March 10 through March 12. A total of 30 of the world's best snowboard riders have been invited to compete in the main event of the contest.
