STOXX Ltd. Changes the Composition of the Select Dividend 30 Indexes

First Regular Annual Review to be Effective on March 20, 2006


ZURICH, Switzerland, March 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- STOXX Ltd. today announced changes in the composition of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index and the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index.

Effective with the open of European markets on March 20, 2006 DEUTSCHE TELEKOM (Germany) and FRANCE TELECOM (France) will replace BANK AUSTRIA CREDITANSTALT (Austria) and VINCI (France) in the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index.

The following stocks will be added to the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index: ALLIED IRISH BANKS (Ireland), CIBA SPECIALTY CHEMICALS 'R' (Switzerland), DEUTSCHE TELEKOM (Germany), FABEGE (Sweden), FRANCE TELECOM (France), RAUTARUUKKI 'K' (Finland), UNIPOL PFD (Italy), VOESTALPINE (Austria) and WIENERBERGER (Austria). Companies exiting the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index are: BRADFORD & BINGLEY (United Kingdom), JARDINE LLOYD THOMPSON (United Kingdom), KELDA GROUP (United Kingdom), NORTHERN FOODS (United Kingdom), ROYAL SUN ALLIANCE INS GROUP (United Kingdom), SSAB (SVENSKT STAL) 'A' (Sweden), SCOTTISH POWER (United Kingdom), TDC A/S (Denmark) and VIRIDIAN GROUP (United Kingdom).

As of March 6, 2006 the dividend yield of the reconstituted Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index increased to 2.97% from 2.70% and the dividend yield of the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index increased to 3.98% from 3.88%.

The Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index - covering Europe - and the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index - covering the Eurozone - track the 30 highest dividend-paying stocks relative to their respective home markets.

The index universe is defined as all dividend-paying companies in the Dow Jones STOXX 600 for the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index and in the Dow Jones EURO STOXX for the Dow Jones EURO STOXX Select Dividend 30 Index, respectively.
