ON24 and Reuters Join to Webcast Visit by the Queen of England

Her Majesty Opens Reuters Global Headquarters in London

SAN FRANCISCO, March 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ON24 Inc., the global leader in webcasting and video communication solutions and Reuters, the global information company today announced that they cooperated to jointly webcast a recent visit of the Queen to the new Reuters offices in Canary Warf. The event follows closely on the heels of the opening of ON24's offices in London.

"We are delighted that Reuters selected the ON24 Webcast Center platform for her Majesty's visit. It affirms that when webcast quality and reliability are paramount, global leaders continue to choose ON24," said Sharat Sharan, President and CEO of ON24. He continued, "It is an honor for us to have participated in this very high profile event, and I believe it demonstrates to U.K. businesses that ON24 is quickly establishing itself as the webcasting leader in Europe."

Co-location and prominent branding are at the heart of the Reuters move; the Pedestrians Square next to the new headquarters has been renamed Reuters Plaza and hosts a giant outdoor LED screen displaying Reuters real time news and pictures. The building itself carries a 100 meter electronic ticker displaying real time price information from the major exchanges around the world.

Samantha Coates, Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications, U.K., said, "We wanted to ensure all Reuter's staff could share in a special day for the company with the official opening of our London Headquarters by the Queen. A webcast was the obvious solution and we were very pleased with the professionalism and skill ON24 brought to what was a very successful broadcast."
