OXFORD, Miss., March 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Vision International (Pink Sheets:EGVI), a rapidly growing diversified energy company, announced today the launch of Energy Vision International (UK) Ltd. in the United Kingdom. This new operating subsidiary is the first among many steps in the company's planned international expansion program.
EVI and Consero Homes Ltd. have executed agreements jointly establishing EVI (UK) Ltd. EVI (UK) Ltd. will install the patented Demarco Energy Miser system in new housing projects throughout the U.K. The company's new offices will be based 20 miles from central London in Guildford, Surrey.
Robert Osborn and Steven Glover have been appointed Managing Director and Operations Director of EVI (UK), respectively. Both gentlemen are founders of Consero Homes (www.conserohomes.com), a successful property development company in the U.K.
Consero Homes has already submitted plans to EVI's design team to incorporate the Demarco Energy Miser solution in a forthcoming residential development. We will announce more details of this project in the near future.
Under this agreement EVI Inc. owns a 51% equity position in the U.K. operation with the remaining shares held by the appointed board of directors. EVI (UK) will also act as our platform to promote the creation of new joint venture alliances in the region with other home builders and property developers along identical lines.
