BANGALORE, India, March 14, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Evident Software is pleased to announce today the establishment of Engineering Centres of Excellence in Bangalore, India and Bloomfield, NJ. The Bangalore Engineering Centre will focus on the architecture, design and development of the scalable data warehousing, reporting and analytics modules for the Evident Enterprise platform.
To manage the Evident India operation, Evident Software has hired Chandrasekar Krishnamurthy, the former Director of OracleDirect in Bangalore, as the Managing Director of Evident India and as a member of the Evident Software India Board of Directors. With Chandrasekar's extensive experience in database systems, object architectures, and enterprise applications, he will hire a number of Engineers to staff the new Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bangalore.

As the leader of the OracleDirect team for Oracle India, Chandra and his team supplied software solutions to support the Oracle North American sales team. Prior to this role, Chandra was a senior software development manager for the Oracle eBusiness Platform group. Before joining Oracle, Chandra held numerous technical, consulting and managerial roles with several companies, including Wipro, Fujitsu, Sierra Atlantic and others.
Chandra has a B.E. (Hons.) Mechanical from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Enterprise Management, at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is also a PMI certified Project Manager (PMP) from Project Management Institute, Pittsburgh, USA.
