Fly High With This Book -- New Book Tells Author's Compelling Story From Being a Dreamer to Becoming a True Pilot

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 15, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- For some people, following the achievements and steps of their parents is a meaningful way of living life and making dreams come true. In the case of author Roger Hobler, he aimed high to be a pilot like his father and was determined to overcome all obstacles and impairments that would get in his way. This is the inspiring story that readers will discover as Xlibris proudly presents his compelling new book Double Marriage- A MidAir Collision.

Double Marriage - A MidAir Collision tells the amazing story of the author who came from a very comfortable childhood and lived through a rather tedious formal education, which would be his challenging path to his ultimate dream of flying. Early in his life, Hobler dreamed of flying airplanes, a passion that was inspired by his father. Despite having an eyesight problem and many challenges in life, the author simply refused to give up eventually realizing his ambition and living his dream in the blue skies. The stories of Hobler's high-flying days will take readers on a journey from England, to Asia, and even into the stagnant world of an aircraft maintenance hangar in Australia.

Inspiring and honest, Double Marriage - A MidAir Collision is a triumphant story set in the aviation world about making your dreams come true. From a moral viewpoint, readers will learn that the quest of overcoming life's obstacles truly begins with strong determination, as proven by the author. Furthermore, this book is highly charged and very explicit in unexpected encounters that Hobler found himself in, having been shamefully exacerbated by his superiors. Double Marriage - A MidAir Collision is the ultimate book for aviation, travel, and adventure readers and it is now available online at Xlibris.com.

About the Author

As a young boy I was in awe of my father, a senior officer and pilot in the British Royal Air Force. I imagined the excitement and freedom that came with being a pilot, and longed to fly myself one day. When my father arranged a flight in a jet trainer for me, I knew my fate was sealed. An unfortunate accident damaged my eyesight, but I refused to let anyone keep me from my dream. I bounced around as a maintenance engineer until being offered a position as a flight engineer with an airline in Hong Kong. This was the start of my journey.
