TechAlt, Inc. and GPSFlight, Inc. Announce Development and Sales Partnership

SEATTLE, March 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- TechAlt, Inc. ("TechAlt") (OTCBB:TCLT) announced today that its operating subsidiary, TechAlt Securities Technologies, Inc. and GPSFlight, Inc. ("GPSFlight"), signed a letter of intent to co-develop and jointly sell communication and tracking technologies in the homeland security market.

Under the proposed agreement, GPSFlight's technology will be included and integrated with the TechAlt homeland security platforms, which TechAlt expects to begin selling during the first half of 2006. TechAlt anticipates that the combination of location information from GPS receivers, coupled with multiple wireless and mesh network transmission mediums, will provide customers in the physical security and public safety markets with access to a significant amount of critical information. TechAlt and GPSFlight envision that their customers within the government and private security markets will be able to simultaneously track hundreds of vehicles, resources and personnel. The technology base has the potential to relay tracking information both across dozens of miles as well as within buildings and structures -- all with little to no prior installation or infrastructure and without carrier fees.

Federico Pacquing, President of TechAlt Security Technologies, Inc., explained, "We expect that GPSFlight's technology will provide a cost-effective solution that public safety end users will find valuable to their integrated communications challenges. We anticipate that the ability to both track assets and to securely communicate their location in real time to multiple parties will have several practical applications in the homeland security market. These communication and location-based features are yet further examples of tools that TechAlt plans to incorporate with the technologies of our system integrator and channel partners to enhance services provided to end customers."

Tom Gonser, GPSFlight's founder, elaborated, "TechAlt's wireless and communication products and technologies complement the location-based solutions that can be provided with GPSFlight products. Already several of our customers and prospects have expressed an interest in the ability to leverage mesh networking and other communication technologies to expand and enhance our GPS networks."

The companies expect to be introducing products to the homeland security market from this joint partnership in the second quarter of 2006 and immediately pursing revenue opportunities.
