Universal Computer Systems is First to Release Hyundai Web DCS Interfaces

HOUSTON, March 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Universal Computer Systems (UCS) is pleased to announce its release of the Hyundai Web DCS interfaces. UCS, the first full-service DSP to release the interfaces, has been working closely with Hyundai North America to develop DCS interfaces, providing an expanded level of integration for its dealerships.

With the interfaces, dealerships running the UCS System can communicate with Hyundai's new Web-based DCS program directly from their UCS System in real time. UCS' interface is designed to improve communication efficiency between dealerships and the manufacturer by eliminating the duplicate keypunching associated with stand-alone DCS systems.

The UCS Hyundai Web DCS interfaces, available now for installation at Hyundai dealerships, include Parts Stock Order, Parts Return, Repair Order Reporting (Warranty Claims), Vehicle Retail Delivery Reporting, and Financial Statement Reporting.

Throughout the implementation process, UCS not only focused on creating an efficient, powerful communication process with Hyundai, but also on providing these new interfaces in a timely manner.

"UCS is pleased to be the first full-service DSP to release the new suite of Hyundai Web DCS interfaces. This integration with Hyundai eliminates the need for a stand-alone DCS device and offers prompt delivery of dealer data to Hyundai Web DCS with very little dealer intervention. In the case of vehicle deliveries and warranty claims, data is automatically transferred to Hyundai as cars are sold and repair orders are completed. Response by UCS dealers to this new functionality has been extremely positive. UCS is very appreciative of the help we received from Rich Hoffman and the entire HISNA (Hyundai Information Services North America) Team in developing these interfaces," states Michael H. Creagh, Vice President of Manufacturer Integration at UCS.
