Cadence Resources to Present at the Johnson Rice & Company Conference


NEW YORK, March 28, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cadence Resources Corporation (OTCBB:CDNR) today announced that William W. Deneau, President and CEO, will present at the Johnson Rice & Company Emerging Energy Growth Conference to be held April 4, 2006, at the Waldorf Astoria, New York City, N.Y.

William W. Deneau, President and CEO, will discuss Cadence and its Antrim Shale Projects in Michigan along with its New Albany Shale Projects in Indiana and Kentucky. The Company's plans for 2006, along with its long-term strategy, will also be discussed.
