Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology and Pfizer Team Up With Globix to Present Advancements in Cancer Treatments Via Webcasts

Nationally Recognized Genitourinary Medical Oncologist Robert J. Motzer, M.D., Educates Hundreds of Area Physicians Through Globix' Presenter Solution

NEW YORK, March 29, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Globix Corporation (AMEX:GEX), a leading provider of Internet infrastructure and network services, today announced that it has recently teamed up with The Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology (GASCO) and Pfizer, Inc. to use Globix' Presenter solution to provide educational seminars in advancements in oncology treatment.

On February 28, 2006, hundreds of prominent physicians were invited to tune in from the comfort of their home or office to see Robert J. Motzer, M.D., present "Targeted Approaches to Renal Cell Carcinoma Therapy." Dr. Motzer, of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, is a nationally recognized genitourinary medical oncologist with particular expertise in testicular and kidney cancers.

GASCO is a nationally respected professional society of physicians, practice administrators and affiliated healthcare professionals concerned with clinical oncology. Pfizer, a longtime corporate sponsor, supported the Webcast by providing GASCO with an unrestricted educational grant.

This is the second Webcast that GASCO has hosted through the support of Globix and Pfizer. The inaugural event featured Christopher Logothetis, M.D., a leader in the treatment of advanced prostate and bladder cancer. He presented "New Techniques in the Treatment of Prostate Cancer."

"Historically, education has been through dinner meetings," said Russ Still, executive director of GASCO. "Globix' Presenter solution enables us to bring nationally-known doctors such as Dr. Motzer and Dr. Logothetis in front of our members - who are spread out across the state - in a quick and efficient manner."

"We are delighted to be able to support GASCO's educational seminars through our Presenter platform," said Pete Stevenson, CEO of Globix. "By utilizing our technology, GASCO is providing audiences throughout the country with the latest breakthroughs and innovations in their field."

Globix Presenter is the most robust and user-friendly presentation tool on the market. It's a highly interactive, full-service Internet multimedia solution that combines live, simulated live or on-demand streaming media presentations with synchronized multimedia content such as PowerPoint presentations, text, images or Flash animations.
