Agentis Taps Michael Georgeff as Technology Advisor

Founder Rejoins Agentis in Strategic Advisory and Investor Role

ATLANTA, March 29, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Agentis Software today announced that Dr. Michael Georgeff, founder of Agentis Software, has been appointed to the company's prestigious Technology Advisor program.

"As a technology advisor Dr. Georgeff will be a leader and a visionary, guiding the company in the application of intelligent agent technology to rapidly and cost effectively build and maintain adaptive business solutions," said James N. Marshall, president and CEO of Agentis Software. In addition to his role of technology advisor, Mike Georgeff joins a group of investors in Australia who are taking an equity position in the company. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.

The Agentis Technology Advisors program recognizes those rare individuals who have made extraordinary technical or leadership contributions toward advancing application development and computing technology. Dr. Georgeff will represent technology issues, work with developers on programs that enhance their businesses and serve as a resource for Agentis sales, marketing, and development personnel.

A world-leading researcher, consultant, and speaker, Dr. Georgeff is recognized as one of the pioneers of intelligent agent technology. This technology simplifies and accelerates development and maintenance of adaptive, event-driven applications. Agentis has applied Dr. Georgeff's concept of intelligent agent software, called AdaptivEnterprise, to provide a unique software product and methodology that solves complex business problems more effectively and faster than conventional technologies.

Dr. Georgeff designed one of the first intelligent systems to control NASA's space shuttle during space missions. "Like business systems today, the key to success was the ability for the software to continuously strive to achieve its goals -- or business objectives -- in a changing, complex and exception-rich environment," said Dr. Georgeff. The concepts developed in that program are the core of Agentis AdaptivEnterprise.

Dr. Georgeff is currently leading an industry and research consortium to establish an intelligent network of health services across Australia. A consultant to government and industry in the U.S., Europe and Australia on information technology strategy in e-business and the knowledge economy, he is Principal of Precedence Research and Research Professor in Information Technology at Monash University, one of Australia's leading academic institutions.

Dr. Georgeff said, "Intelligent agent software provides a level of business empowerment and responsiveness in software solutions that is not possible using conventional technologies. It is the only technology that combines the flexibility of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and the adaptability of an event-driven architecture (EDA) to dramatically reduce development cost and time to market. My goal is to advance the benefits of Agentis software as well as to keep Agentis abreast of industry trends."
