According to news reports from WXIA-TV NBC 11 Alive, Atlanta police used a TASER(r) device to end a nearly three hour standoff early Monday morning after reports of a domestic assault.

When police reported to the residence on Atlanta Avenue they were met outside the home by the bloodied assault suspect who was holding two knives and had self-inflicted wounds on his throat and neck. Police learned that three other people were injured inside the home.
