ANNAPOLIS, Md., March 31, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) this week announced a $25,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Md., to fund a tutoring andcounseling room at the organization's new Bates club in Annapolis.

"This corporate contribution is another example of that commitment and we are extremely pleased that it will directly support area youth."
Northrop Grumman is Anne Arundel County's largest private employer with approximately 7,500 employees. The company's Electronic Systems sector is headquartered in Linthicum and its Oceanic and Naval Systems business unit is based in Annapolis.

The Boys and Girls Club of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County provides a range of important services including tutoring, computer education, sports training, homework help, mentoring and instilling positive values to area youth.
