Liska Biometry and DCS Announce a North African Driver's License Contract

DOVER, N.H., April 3, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Liska Biometry is pleased to announce that DCS Europe has won a significant award for participation in an African government driver's license project. In February, Liska signed a definitive agreement to merge with the parent company of DCS Europe, DCS. As per the contract, DCS will provide a hardware and software solution for secure image capture for the driver license project.

"This again represents the type of organization we are looking to merge with," said Christopher J. LeClerc, Liska's President and CEO. "Moreso, I believe integration of our solutions will prove to be a very powerful technology platform for the Secure Identification market."

Liska develops proprietary biometric technology that enables a finger scan to be represented in an alphanumeric number and not a template as with traditional fingerprint technology. "We see unprecedented growth in the secure identification market," said Charles Benz, DCS Chairman. "We will position the company to be a total solutions provider for these types of projects around the world," said Benz, "through the integration of our core technology with Liska's, as well as our ability to partner with other integrators and suppliers around the world, we feel we can establish a strong presence as a leader in the secure ID space."

DCS has a 51% ownership in DCS Europe. Liska signed a definitive agreement to purchase 100% of the outstanding stock in DCS and to own 100% of all its subsidiaries. At present the companies are continuing due diligence and going through the process of auditing financial statements.
