ATLANTA, April 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Metro Atlanta college students who attend the preview party for The Flats, the only student housing community in Atlantic Station, will have more than a good time. They'll get food from Moe's Southwest Grill, free gifts, and chances to win cool prizes including one free meal a week for a whole year.
The Flats will be fully furnished, and students who live there will have their own bedrooms (with computer stations) and private bathrooms. Between two and four roommates share the kitchen, living and dining rooms. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer so you don't have to haul all your clothes to the laundry room. There's also a pool, a courtyard with a fountain, game room, lounge, business center and covered, controlled-access parking with assigned spots. The rent, which starts at $725 per person, includes the 24-hour fitness center, cable TV, high-speed Internet service and most utilities.
Anyone who'll be enrolled in an Atlanta-area college or university this fall can live at The Flats. There are only has 86 apartments, so demand is expected to be high.
Transportation will be a breeze; you can walk or use the free shuttle to get to the movie theatre, stores, restaurants, grocery store and bank in Atlantic Station, as well as a stop for the Georgia Tech Stinger. The Atlantic Station shuttle also goes to the MARTA station where you can take public transportation to Georgia State, The Savannah College of Art and Design, Spelman, Morehouse and other points in Downtown and Midtown.
