Cardtronics Announces ATM Branding Agreement With HSBC Bank USA

HSBC Bank USA Expands ATM Network Within Walgreens Stores


HOUSTON, April 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cardtronics Inc. and HSBC Bank USA, N.A., have closed a deal that will enable HSBC to brand up to 59 ATMs in Walgreens locations in Northern New Jersey. Installations are expected to be completed by early June of this year. In addition, all HSBC-branded ATMs in Walgreens stores will be surcharge-free to the bank's customers -- just like its on-premise ATMs.

HSBC Bank USA is the U.S. banking unit of one of the world's largest financial services companies. The bank has nearly 400 branches in New York State and began its New Jersey expansion in June 2005. HSBC also has branches in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C, Delaware, Oregon and Washington state.
