From Birth to Eternity -- New Book Invites Those Seeking Answers to Invite God Into Their Lives

ABERDEEN, N.C., April 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Many people struggle to understand how and why misfortune seems to lurk at every turn in their lives. Lee M. Harris used to be one of these searchers, but he found the guidance he was looking for when he invited Jesus Christ into his life. His new book, From Birth to Eternity (now available through AuthorHouse), encourages readers to do the same.

"The book is meant to show us that if we can push ourselves to give our Lord and savior Jesus Christ the same opportunity that so many of us gave the devil, then many lives would be changed for the good of our own final destinations," Harris says, adding, "Satan doesn't wait until our children are a certain age before he decides to attack them; the more unfamiliar someone is with the ways of the world, the bigger [Satan's] feast."

Inside this small book is what Harris calls "food for all ages." According to him, the world is in serious danger of being lost completely unless parents, political leaders and others step up to the plate. From Birth to Eternity provides guidance to those willing to take the lead in this all important battle.

"Many of our younger parents know nothing about raising children because they are only children themselves. Many of our older parents never lived their lives according to God's standards, so they could not teach their children. Many of our older parents who either know or once knew Christ have given up on their children because society has gotten so corrupt, and our elderly have seen so much change for the bad in this world that many have just given up," he writes. "This book is an opportunity for someone to hear an outspoken version of how good things could be if we know Christ, and how bad they could be when we don't."

In addition, Harris spends some time discussing mankind's final days and offering his views on where so many souls are destined to spend eternity. "We make our own choices, but God will also hold us responsible for deliberately misleading someone else," he says.

From Birth to Eternity examines one man's vision and direction in a world he feels is devoid of both.

Harris was born in rural North Carolina in 1959. Hard work was a way of life, and although the challenges made a lasting impression on him, it was not until Harris and his wife made the decision to invite God into their lives that they learned the true meaning of wealth. "From Birth to Eternity came from my heart, and so long as God is in it, the devil can't win it," he says.
