RESTON, Va., April 18, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Kelley Zelickson sector vice president and general manager of its Tactical Systems Division, a business unit in the company's Mission Systems sector.

In her new position, Zelickson has executive responsibility for the sector's tactical systems and land forces programs, leading an organization with 1,650 employees in 12 locations nationwide. She reports to Jerry B. Agee, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.
Zelickson most recently was vice president of Mission Assurance for the Mission Systems sector. She previously served as vice president of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense program, one of the company's major missile-defense contracts.

Northrop Grumman Mission System's tactical systems business unit develops systems that address the mission needs of its key Department of Defense customers covering the entire program life-cycle -- from system architecture to the development and sustainment of mission-critical battle command, communications, integrated security and force protection, integrated platform solutions and logistics management systems. Major programs include Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below-Blue Force Tracking; Command Post Platform; Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar Integration and Fielding; Global Combat Support System-Army; and the logistics and network management segments of the Future Combat System.
Since joining TRW in 1980, Zelickson has served in various program management and engineering analysis positions. Northrop Grumman acquired TRW in 2002.
Zelickson earned a bachelor's degree in engineering science and mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering from University of Alabama, Huntsville.
