First Tennessee Building to Glow Blue in Support of the Memphis Grizzlies

Grizzlies Checking Customer to be Awarded Tickets to Playoff Game

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- With the Memphis Grizzlies earning their third consecutive trip to the NBA playoffs, First Tennessee will celebrate beginning tomorrow with a message of support in blue lights -- Go Grizz, 12 stories high -- on the bank's corporate headquarters building at 165 Madison, just blocks from the FedExForum.

First Tennessee also will award one of its Grizzlies checking account customers with four tickets to the fourth Grizzlies playoff game, which will be played Monday, May 1, in Memphis. The drawing will be held Wednesday, April 26. Grizzlies checking enables Memphis Grizzlies fans to show their support with Grizzlies logos on their checks, a special Grizzlies checkbook cover and occasional rewards such as bobble heads or game tickets.

Grizz, the Grizzlies' mascot, will be on hand at First Tennessee's headquarters building Monday, April 24, when team officials will sell playoff tickets in the bank branch from Noon - 2 p.m.

First Tennessee is the official financial services provider of the Memphis Grizzlies and the presenting sponsor of the playoffs.
