Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) took a hit last week. Unfortunately for folks who own the stock, I think there is more downside. The indicators I follow are Stochastics, RSI, and MACD (among others). They point to further stock losses.
When I rate a stock "Sell," it means that the momentum indicators I follow are in full swing. I see a "Sell" stock as one that is usually already in the process of trending lower from previously overbought levels.
A "Sell" rated stock is one that I would not want to buy. I'd be more inclined to wait for a "Sell" rated stock to drop lower before I considered picking up any shares.
This is a stock that would have -- most likely -- been rated "Strong Sell" sometime in the recent past. Now, I'm waiting to see technical indications that the time to buy is near. The next rating along that path is a "Weak Sell."
