Lantronix Launches Updated Version of Award-Winning SecureLinx SLC Console Server With New Enterprise and Security Features

Now NEBS Compliant, SLC Makes Managing Connected Equipment Even Easier and More Secure

The expanded features are also available as a field deployable software upgrade to existing SLCs. The extensive enhancements include increased enterprise, security and ease-of-use capabilities to securely and remotely access servers and IT infrastructure equipment regardless of where it is located.

The SLC's new enterprise and security features now make managing connected equipment even easier and more secure. With simultaneous device port access, multiple remote IT administrators can collaborate to manage attached equipment. To ensure policy compliance, enhanced security features such as a configurable user rights allows extensive control of administrative privileges. In addition, a new web session manager and configurable port numbers for secure shell (SSH) access can help minimize security vulnerabilities.

With an updated WebSSH capability, administrators have command line access to attached systems via any Java-enabled web browser. In addition, the WebSSH enhancement provides for easy viewing of attached equipment through variable font sizes and also adds a powerful new cut-and-paste capability to simplify repetitive operations.

Lantronix SecureLinx SLC console management product provides a complete in-band and out-of-band management solution for the data center. The SLC gives IT managers the unsurpassed ability to remotely monitor, troubleshoot, repair and manage IT equipment, including servers, switches, routers, telecom equipment or anything in a rack even if the network is down.
