Digi and Lantronix Announce Intellectual Property Cross License Agreement and Settle Current Patent Litigations


MINNEAPOLIS and IRVINE, Calif., May 2, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Digi International(r) Inc. (Nasdaq:DGII) and Lantronix, Inc. (Nasdaq:LTRX) today announced that the companies have signed an agreement to cross-license each other's patents and have settled all pending patent infringement litigations between the companies.

Under and subject to the terms of the agreement, each company will have the benefit and protection afforded by all of each other's current and future patents for a period of six years. Additional terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
