Navatar Group Partners With National Human Services Assembly to Provide CRM to Nonprofit Organizations

WASHINGTON, May 4, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The National Human Services Assembly, Washington DC, has signed an agreement with Navatar Group to offer customized CRM products and services to its members. Navatar will be the newest company to join National Assembly's Business Partners Program which provides discounted goods and services for its members and their affiliates.

Navatar, through the work it does in the field of Relationship Management for nonprofits has been recommended to the National Assembly by its member organizations such as United Way, AARP and Girls, Inc. Navatar focuses on nonprofits where, traditionally, CRM involved implementing nonprofit Relationship Management software (such as Raiser's Edge, iMIS(r), Aptify(tm)) that was unreliable due to quality, usability, vendor stability, or lack of functionality. With On-Demand CRM, nonprofits now have the opportunity to coordinate Relationship Management at the national level, thereby getting more from the customer/donor, reducing costs and improving communication. Navatar helps organizations approach CRM as a broad business strategy that is enabled by technology to drive large scale cultural change.

United Way of America, a National Assembly member, has hired Navatar to design and implement a national CRM initiative for their locals to facilitate Relationship-based Fundraising, improve efficiency in Donor Management and improve overall donor experience. Michael Schreiber, Executive Vice President, United Way of America, describes their association with Navatar by noting: "We have found the services of Navatar Group invaluable at helping us both design and execute our CRM strategy. Navatar has brought structure to a process which, despite high levels of internal capability, would have stayed conceptual without the external support we received. We have spent less and achieved much more than we anticipated."

AARP, also a National Assembly member, has engaged Navatar to build a central process and capability to manage donors from multiple initiatives such as Major Gifts, Matching Gifts, Planned Giving and Direct Mail for their Foundation. This has improved collaboration between these groups as well the ability to leverage relationships within their powerful member base to improve Resource Development. Pat Pendergast, CRM Project Lead at AARP, observes that "Navatar has been with us every step of the way for our CRM initiative. Friendly, dependable and thorough, Navatar is the Sherpa of our implementation summit!"

Alok Misra, Principal, Navatar Group and a CRM advisor to several large corporations expressed his excitement about this partnership by saying, "Relationship Management is one of the critical agenda items for most national nonprofits today. Our partnership with National Assembly will help us mobilize the executive-level engagement and collaboration that is extremely important to be successful in this discipline."
