Paint the Town Pink (And Blue): JetBlue Starts Nonstop Flights to Bermuda

Two Daily Flights From New York-JFK, Fares Start at $129(a) Each Way

NEW YORK, May 4, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today launches service to Bermuda from New York, its hometown, bringing its signature low-fares and high-service to the island of pink sand beaches. JetBlue will offer two daily nonstop flights between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Bermuda with fares starting at $129(a) each way, and are available to customers online at www.jetblue.com.

"Our customers have been anticipating the start of low-fare and award-winning service to Bermuda," said David Neeleman, JetBlue's CEO. "We know Bermuda will become one of our customers' favorite destinations for years to come."

"This historic JetBlue service brings with it a new era in aviation between Bermuda and the United States," said Deputy Premier of Bermuda and Minister of Tourism & Transport, Dr. the Hon. Ewart Brown, JP, MP. "I expect that, as long as the cost of traveling between the two countries is affordable for most Americans and most Bermudians, we will see an increase in passenger traffic. This will spell success for Bermuda and JetBlue."

JetBlue will serve Bermuda with EMBRAER 190 aircraft, a 100-seat jet that offers the low-fare airline's signature 36 channels of DIRECTV programming, plus more than 100 channels of XM Satellite Radio, the most live entertainment options of any airline. Members of JetBlue's TrueBlue, Flight Gratitude program will earn two points for every nonstop flight to Bermuda, with double points awarded for purchasing travel online at www.jetblue.com.
