eGames Contributes to the 'Gift of Life Donor Program'

LANGHORNE, Pa., May 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that Kristin Simko, a long time eGames employee who now works with our product development team as an outside consultant, completed her three kilometer walk in the "Dash for Donor Awareness" held in Philadelphia, PA, on Sunday, April 23, 2006, to benefit the Gift of Life Donor Program www.donors1.org.

eGames, Inc. has made a $1,000 contribution from its "Pennies Count Too!" fund to the "Transplant Foundation" on behalf of Kristin to recognize her personal commitment to increasing society's awareness of the need to support organ and tissue donation in order to save lives. eGames is contributing a penny for every eGames software title sold at North American retail locations and on the Internet to the Pennies Count Too! fund, which is earmarked for contributions that benefit charitable organizations. The Pennies Count Too! fund contributes to charities benefited by the athletic events in which eGames employees participate, with the overall goal of aiding charities that help people in need.

"The Dash for Donor Awareness is an excellent way to help support this inspirational cause, one step at a time," Simko commented. I hope that our $1,000 contribution to the Transplant Foundation will go a long way to help those who are in need of life saving procedures."

"It's our belief that small things can make a big difference, and although we are a small company, we think we can make a difference. It is our hope that Pennies Count Too! will draw attention to the importance of charitable causes which benefit children and families in special need and anyone awaiting this life saving procedure is certainly in special need. Those attributes are the essential criteria for the Company's distributions from the Pennies Count Too! Fund," commented Jerry Klein, President and CEO of eGames. "We chose to associate Pennies Count Too! with athletic events to underscore the importance of leading a balanced life and overcoming personal challenges. Research in recent years has cited numerous benefits resulting from playing PC games that stimulate and develop the brain while enhancing certain key fundamental skills for both children and adults of all ages. Research has also demonstrated the overwhelming benefits of a life-long daily exercise regimen. Pennies Count Too! activities and publicity strive to draw positive attention to the need to integrate daily physical activity into the lives of children and their families for healthier living."
