Energy Telecom Announces Partnering with BITwave Private Ltd.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., May 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Telecom, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EYTL) (www.energytele.com) announced today it signed a formal agreement with its partner, BITwave Private Ltd., of Singapore (http://bitwave.com.sg), allowing Energy to offer BITwave's next generation sound attenuating mixed signal wireless technology in Energy's communication eyewear products. BITwave's technology has been used by BMW and Knowles Electronics, and is employed in military applications for communicating in extremely difficult environments.

"We formally welcome BITwave's patented technology to Energy's project. We firmly believe that offering superior noise-attenuation and instant in-plant communications to mobile workers in hazardous environments, and cell phone communication and streaming high-fidelity stereo at the same time, places Energy's communication eyewear project far above any other head-worn communication eyewear on the market," stated Mr. Tom Rickards, CEO of Energy Telecom. "We realize that today's recreational eyewear (sunglasses) wearer demands the highest quality sound possible, and that our patented in-ear sound attenuating ear pieces deliver just that. Coupled with BITwave's revolutionary 4-stage patented noise suppression protocols, the physical comfort and superior noise attenuation of Energy's products delivers the best possible music, and cell phone communication while golfing, boating, jogging, or attending outdoors events."

Energy Telecom holds United States and foreign patents providing leading global manufacturers of recreational and safety eyewear the means of offering the world's first hands-free, wireless communication eyewear. These products will be worn by those listening to music or using Bluetooth enabled cell and Push-To-Talk phones, by police, fire, rescue, military and security personnel, and by those working in bio-hazardous, mining, construction and heavy manufacturing when using VHF and UHF radio communication.
