Smith & Merritt Institute Inks Strategic Alliance with Dr. Denis Waitley and The Waitley Institute


SALT LAKE CITY, May 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Smith & Merritt Institute, a leader in providing affordable, unbiased financial education and financial strategies focused on solid wealth building, debt elimination, asset protection and estate planning strategies, announced today the signing of a letter of intent to add two new programs from Dr. Denis Waitley, founder and president of The Waitley Institute Inc. into their Abundance: Spending Your Way to Wealth program.

This agreement will grant full rights to allow the Smith & Merritt Institute to include The Waitley Institute's "Your Family and Money" and "Your Children and Money", developed by Dr. Denis Waitley and his colleague, Dr. Maryann Rosenthal, into their product line, and grants them the right to promote the combined program via Seminars and a variety of other media. Dr. Waitley is a recognized authority on high performance achievement and is the author of 15 non-fiction books including global best-sellers "The Psychology of Winning," and "Seeds of Greatness." Dr. Rosenthal, a clinical psychologist, keynote lecturer and expert in family dynamics, is the author of the popular, new book, "Be a Parent, Not a Pushover."
