Atlanta Rallys to Support the Ronald McDonald Houses

ATLANTA, May 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The 12th Annual Golf Classic and the premier Dinner Auction benefiting the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities at Capital City Club - Brookhaven will take place on Sunday, May 21, 2006 and Monday, May 22, 2006.

"When I moved to Atlanta, I quickly got involved with the Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses as a volunteer through my Junior League," commented Suzy Smith, Golf Classic Dinner Auction Chairwoman. She also notes, "The Dinner Auction is an opportunity to tell the community the Ronald McDonald House story and to support a charity that is very close to my heart."

Tony Raffa, Golf Classic Tournament Chairman, states, "Eleven years ago, I started this tournament with some friends to help out the Houses. After witnessing the good that the Homes provided to the families, the Golf Classic Committee felt it was important that the Atlanta area learned the same story by bringing the Golf Classic to a more central venue."

At the Dinner Auction on Sunday, May 21st, guests will dine on delicious southern cuisine. There will be live entertainment by Banks & Shane and silent and live auctions that will highlight the evening. Tickets can be purchased at $100 per patron in advance by Thursday, May 18, 2006. On Monday, May 22nd, the Golf Classic will feature a morning shotgun start and a post reception hosted by Jerry Farber.
