eGames Contributes to the American Cancer Society

LANGHORNE, Pa., May 17, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that Cindy Yeagle and Kim Branson, both long time eGames employees, completed the 10-mile Blue Cross Broad Street Run held in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sunday, May 7, 2006, to benefit the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).

eGames, Inc. has made a $1,000 contribution from its "Pennies Count Too!" fund to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Cindy and Kim to recognize their efforts in training for and completing the Broad Street Run. eGames is contributing a penny for every eGames software title sold at North American retail locations and on the Internet to the Pennies Count Too! fund, which is earmarked for contributions that benefit charitable organizations. The Pennies Count Too! fund contributes to charities benefited by the athletic events in which eGames employees participate, with the overall goal of aiding charities that help people in need.

"I'm thrilled to have successfully completed a personal goal and in doing so, also helping a worthy cause!" said Branson, lead design specialist at eGames.

"The Broad Street Run is something I look forward to every year," added Yeagle, eGames sales and marketing manager. " It is a great way to stay in shape while helping beat cancer at the same time."

"It's our belief that small things can make a big difference, and although we are a small company, we think we can make a difference. It is our hope that our contribution from the Pennies Count Too! Fund will draw attention to the importance of donating to cancer research," commented Jerry Klein, President and CEO of eGames. "We chose to associate Pennies Count Too! with athletic events to underscore the importance of leading a balanced life and overcoming personal challenges. Pennies Count Too! activities and publicity strive to draw positive attention to the need to integrate daily physical activity into the lives of children and their families for healthier living, as well as giving back to the community."
