The College will host "A Tribute to Dr. Glenda D. Price and a Dinner to Benefit the Dr. Glenda D. The College has also been selected by the Skillman Foundation to house the Good Schools Initiative and introduced many new and unique academic programs such as the Master's of Education in Educational Technology, the Master's of Arts in Social and the Griots, a nationally recognized teacher certification program for African American males."

Julia Darlow, secretary of the Marygrove Board and chair of the Science Initiative Fund Committee, said, "Dr. Price leaves a legacy of urban leadership and a commitment to science education as she brings her professional career to a close.
