The combination of data analytics and mining technologies provides high data coverage and accuracy that is scalable internationally.

"With this acquisition, we have enhanced AMG's ability to fulfill its core mission: to enable individuals to discover music, movies and games by providing insightful editorial content and comprehensive metadata," said Ron Burkle, Managing Partner of The Yucaipa Companies. "The acquisition of MoodLogic strengthens AMG's ability to serve its expanding customer base."

We are pairing our expert editorial and biographical content with community-generated analysis and reactions," said Karl Ryser, President of AMG. "MoodLogic's ability to normalize, organize, and clean this feedback through advanced data mining technologies is unmatched. These two information sources, combined with MoodLogic's advanced playlisting technologies and AMG's media recognition technologies, now form the basis of the next generation in content management systems."

"The consumer's experience is only as good as the metadata that powers that experience. From the founding of the company, MoodLogic's vision has been to enable a fundamentally new and personal digital music experience," said Tom Sulzer, President and CEO of MoodLogic. "AMG has long been known as the leading expert in the entertainment information delivery space: recognized for clean, standardized data and insightful editorial information.
