Delta Launches International Fare Sale for Customers Traveling To, From or Through New York

Limited-time sale fares available to customers flying into JFK hub

ATLANTA, May 23, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines is offering customers even more reasons to choose its hub at New York's JFK airport with special low sale fares for travel to Europe and the West Coast -- just in time for the busy summer travel season.

Earlier this year, Delta announced the addition of dozens of new daily Delta and Delta Connection departures to 14 new nonstop destinations. The new flights, to be introduced beginning in June, will connect customers from destinations across the Northeast and on the West Coast to Delta's growing offering of international, domestic and transcontinental service from New York-JFK, and will complement the airline's leading presence on the other side of Queens at New York's LaGuardia Airport.

With this expansion, Delta will offer JFK customers more than 140 peak day flights to 69 worldwide destinations by October -- more than any other airline in the market. New destinations include: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, N.Y.; Cleveland, Ohio; Manchester, N.H.; Richmond, Va.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Portland, Maine; Hartford, Conn.; Providence, R.I.; Washington Dulles; San Diego, Calif.; and Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Customers also can earn 1,000 bonus SkyMiles(r) for each flown roundtrip ticket purchased at delta.com. Tickets must be purchased by May 31, 2006, for international itineraries and June 7, 2006, for domestic itineraries.
