Plans have set sail for "Bounty on the Bay" which, for the first time, organizations representing the nation's top three crops will share a single platform, and corn, soybean and wheat producers will address opportunities and issues of importance to agriculture.

"ASA and NCGA welcome the National Association of Wheat Growers to Commodity Classic," said ASA President Bob Metz. "Altogether, our three organizations represent more than 80 percent of the U.S. crop area planted each year."

Added NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson, "For more than 10 years, the roll out of the Commodity Classic poster has been the kickoff to plans for a great event. The addition of NAWG to Commodity Classic takes this premier event to the next level by broadening the scope and appeal of the trade show and convention for exhibitors, media and our event sponsors."

Landlubbers and salty dogs alike will benefit from all Commodity Classic has to offer, including hundreds of trade show booths, a lively General Session, great family entertainment and targeted learning sessions.

"We are so excited to join corn and soy at Commodity Classic," said Dale Schuler, NAWG President. "This is a great opportunity for wheat growers and our organization." Producers can expect to receive updates in association publications over the coming months.
