A Witty but Serious Drama of Growing Up -- New Book Features Unique Style of Writing as Author Shares Stories about His Childhood

LOCUST GROVE, Va., May 27, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- No matter where you came from, it is truly up to your spirit and your heart to decide how to survive and live on. And ultimately life's challenges will simply keep coming towards you. Are you willing to overcome these challenges? Which direction will you take your life? These are the themes expressed by author A. Michaels for readers to learn as Xlibris proudly releases his new book Boogaloo.

Boogaloo is a witty but serious drama about a boy who grows into a man in different environments. With an interesting style of writing, the author writes about his childhood through a presidential candidate who writes a book about his childhood. Fast-paced, short, funny yet serious and easy to read, this book's story features two different endings which will leave readers breathless. With many situations happening fast, many interesting characters and many of life's tough decisions charging in, this novel is lively like an adventure.

Urbanites and suburbanites, alike, will find this book enjoyable to read and easily relatable. It is a touching story about the growth of an urban youth who struggled hard and climbed up the layered ranks of the political arena, which in effect will amuse and captivate any reader. Interestingly, the spirit behind the story is the author's childhood presented in a very unique style like no other.
