ON24 Expands Podcasting to Include Video Podcasts

Extends Reach of a Company's Communication Strategy and Offers Lead Generation Opportunities When Coupled With ON24's LeadVantage Solutions


SAN FRANCISCO, June 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- ON24 Inc., the global leader in webcasting and video communication solutions, announced the availability of video Podcasts (MP4 format) with its video webcasts and LeadVantage(sm) lead generation system.

Earlier this year ON24 released audio Podcasts providing the audio channel of both audio and video webcasts. With the addition of video Podcasting, clients can leverage the value and advantages of their video presentations by extending its reach to a broader and more mobile audience.

ON24's Podcasting solutions provide clients the ability to add a video Podcast with any of its video webcasts or for use on a stand-alone basis. When made available with a video webcast, viewers have the option to download a Podcast in MP4 format or subscribe to a Podcast for automatic delivery into their Podcasting application such as iTunes or iPodder. Podcasts are available for use soon after the live webcast is enabled for archive (on-demand access). When offered on a stand-alone basis, Podcasts can be used in conjunction with ON24's LeadVantage registration and reporting systems for lead generation and other applications.
