Introductory Fare of $69 Each Way(a)

Regular Fares Between 50-70 Percent Lower Than Pre-JetBlue Fares

NEW YORK, June 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today announces it will begin nonstop service between its hometown New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport) and Nashville, TN, effective August 31, 2006. A special introductory fare of $69(a) each way is available for purchase through June 30, for travel through October 31. Regular fares will range from $89(a) to $299(a), which are 50 to 70 percent lower than fares offered before JetBlue's arrival.

"The Music City needs some Blues," said David Neeleman, JetBlue's founder and CEO. "Not only will people hear great music in Nashville, but onboard their JetBlue flight as well. JetBlue customers have more than 100 channels of XM Satellite Radio(r), so you can listen to the music you want to and from Nashville. And with our low fares, nonstop flights to New York plus connecting service to dozens of other JetBlue destinations, getting the band together and hitting the road is easier and more affordable than ever."

In addition to low fares and XM Satellite Radio(r), JetBlue customers in Nashville can look forward to 36 channels of DIRECTV(r) programming on their seat-back televisions, while sitting in a comfy all-leather seat with industry-leading legroom. Service to Nashville will be operated with JetBlue's EMBRAER 190 fleet. Members of JetBlue's customer loyalty program, TrueBlue, will receive 2 points per flight, with double points awarded for purchasing online at www.jetblue.com. Customers can earn free travel even faster by using the JetBlue Card from American Express.

"I'm pleased to welcome JetBlue to Nashville," said U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D. "This new service will provide Middle Tennesseans with more flight options, lower fares and additional rewards for many years to come."

"JetBlue's announcement is good news," said U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander. "It means more travel choices and better airfares for Tennesseans. It is one more feather in Nashville's cap as one of America's top travel destinations."

"I'd like to welcome JetBlue to Tennessee," said Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen. "Your decision to begin service from Nashville to New York this fall will give consumers more travel choices and will continue the steady growth of the air market in Middle Tennessee."

"I'm pleased to welcome JetBlue Airways to Music City," U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper said. "The new flights to New York will give Middle Tennesseans more affordable travel options and will facilitate the growing business opportunities between Nashville and New York."

"This commitment is an important vote of confidence in Nashville business and tourism. JetBlue will add great value and opportunity to Nashville and our region and provides important new connections to New York and the world just when we need them," Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell said.

"This is an initiative the MNAA has been working on for three years and we're extremely pleased to welcome JetBlue to Music City and Nashville International Airport. JetBlue's arrival is just another indication of our region's economic viability and the appeal of Music City as a great place to do business," said Raul Regalado, President & CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.

JetBlue offers customers generous brand name snacks and beverages, including freshly brewed Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and delicious wines selected by the airline's Low Fare Sommelier, Josh Wesson from Best Cellars.
