Energy Vision International Announces Florida Expansion Plans and New Geothermal Headquarters

OXFORD, Miss., June 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Energy Vision International (Pink Sheets:EGVI), a rapidly growing diversified energy company announced today its plans to expand its operations with a new subsidiary: Energy Vision International, Florida.

EVI Florida will act as the company's national geothermal headquarters and will support all EVI operating subsidiaries with geothermal load calculations design, web-server maintenance, product shipment and administrative services. A "school of excellence" will provide training to technical staff on our patented "DeMarco Energy Miser" heating and cooling technology.

Local investors, operational management, sales personnel, and geothermal technical experts are being assembled to launch this new operation.

Florida energy conservation demand is bolstered by the fact that 1,000 people a day relocate to the region along with 35 million visitors a year. Florida Governor Jeb Bush supports renewable energy as per the 2006 Florida Energy Act.

The Company stands poised to capture a portion of the massive campaign to retrofit school buildings using wasteful heating and cooling technology. Billions of dollars of state grants have been set aside to assist enterprising corporations and homeowners with the cost of installing energy conservation technology such as the DeMarco Energy Miser geothermal system.

This subsidiary will facilitate the company's planned expansion of its geothermal technology into the Caribbean islands. Energy cost in the Caribbean is significantly higher than in the U.S.A. mainly due to commonly used diesel powered electricity generation. It has been EVI's intention to enter this lucrative market at the earliest opportunity.

Anthony Welch, Chairman, said "As promised to stockholders, we deliver again. This new subsidiary is not only important because of the Florida market opportunity, but also because it will be our new operational HQ for all geothermal technology and distribution. It also provides us with gateway operations to the lucrative Caribbean market."
