'From Trunks to Treasures:' The Bridal Armoire Company Reinvents Wedding Gown Preservation

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn., June 7, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Bridal Armoire Company has invented luxury wedding gown preservation. No longer is it necessary to put aside a treasured and expensive gown rarely or never to be seen again after the wedding day.

The Bridal Armoire Company's patent pending Bridal Armoire is a brand new, one of a kind way to preserve and display a wedding gown. Over the past seven years they have researched and created a preservation/display case that controls humidity, filters incoming air, has UV protection from 99% of natural light, has low heat/no UV lighting and a custom fitted dress form to display the gown to prevent stretching and pulling of seams -- all important elements in the preservation of heirloom textiles.

This idea came about when the inventor of the Bridal Armoire, a cabinet and furniture designer, set out to create something unique for his wife's gown as she didn't want to pack it away where it would never be seen. His design began as a trunk with a viewing window to be placed at the foot of her bed. However, after extensively researching how to best preserve the wedding gown as an heirloom textile, it evolved into the museum-quality treasure it has become today.

The Bridal Armoire Company strives to bring a safe and elegant new twist to the luxury gown preservation world. For more information please contact Michael Barnett at (865) 908-7100 or email him at heirlooms@bridalarmoirecompany.com.
