Micron Enviro Announces Company Update

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Micron Enviro Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:MSEV) (Frankfurt:NDD) ("Micron") has been informed by the Secretary of State of Nevada that they have accepted the planned split of Micron shares as filed by a Certificate of Change. At this time a new CUSIP and symbol have not yet been assigned, therefore the split will be delayed. There is no concern that the split will not occur, just a slight delay until Micron receives the required new CUSIP, and new symbol for the split by the NASD which is now anticipated to be June 24, 2006. The record date will also be June 24, 2006.

Bernie McDougall, President of Micron stated, "The stock split is going to happen, but sometimes things get delayed with regulators. As soon as the NASD and CUSIP provide Micron with the new CUSIP and symbol, we will announce the exact split date; we anticipate that this date will be June 24, 2006. This delay may in fact enable the company to inform more of the existing shareholders and potential new shareholders of the company's future plans."

Micron is an emerging oil and gas company that has exposure to four separate leases in the Athabasca Oil Sands of Alberta, Canada, which is the largest Oil Sands region in the world, and has production from multiple conventional oil and gas wells. Micron is one of if not the smallest market capitalized companies with exposure to multiple Alberta Oil Sands. Micron's goal is to become a junior oil and gas producer that focuses on the exploration, discovery and delivery of gas and oil to the North American marketplace. Micron currently has multiple independent sources of oil and/or gas revenue from production in Canada and Texas. Micron is presently involved in multiple oil and gas prospects, and continues to look for additional projects that would contribute to building Micron's market capitalization, including additional Oil Sands projects.
