Alero Technology Ensures Interoperability with Hitachi Content Archive Platform, the Digital Archiving Platform for the 21st Century


KISSIMMEE, Fla., June 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gartner Storage Summit 2006 -- Alero Technology today announces it has joined the Hitachi Data Systems independent software vendor (ISV) partner program. The program announced today by Hitachi Data Systems, provider of Application Optimized Storage(tm) solutions and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. Hitachi Data Systems and Alero Technology have worked together to provide customers an active archive solution that has been tested and validated to ensure that the customer environment and its business critical data, is secure and protected for the long-term. Both Xtorm(r) and its next generation successor, Alero(tm), successfully completed interoperability testing with the Hitachi Content Archive Platform.
