Delta Anticipates Minimal Customer Impact From Tropical Storm Alberto


ATLANTA, June 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines customers booked on flights traveling to/through Central Florida and Southwest Georgia will see little impact due to Tropical Storm Alberto. The storm, which is expected to make landfall by this afternoon, will cause temporary disruptions at the following airports:



    -- Gainesville, Fla.
    -- Daytona Beach, Fla.
    -- Valdosta, Ga.

Delta subsidiary, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), has proactively cancelled flights at these airports because of the storm and is currently working with customers to assist their travel plans. The impacted airports are expected to resume regular operations later this afternoon.
