Nevada Gold to Present at New York Gaming Summit


HOUSTON, June 19, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (AMEX:UWN) announced that Eric Persson, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Tioga Downs and Vernon Downs, will present Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. EST at the New York Gaming Summit. The event is being held June 20-21, 2006, at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, New York.

Tioga Downs opened June 9, 2006. The new harness racing and entertainment facility includes numerous amenities, including live racing and simulcasting, a newly constructed 90,000 square foot grandstand housing restaurants, lounges, arcades, entertainment, and retail, as well as the Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) facility, which will include 750 video lottery terminals, expected to open by June 28, 2006.

Vernon Downs, undergoing renovation, will offer gaming, racing, simulcasts, hotel, food and beverage facilities, and an outstanding calendar of entertainment events and is slated to open late summer 2006.
