Wireless Age Unit mmwave Announces Vancouver Regional Operations Centre

CTO to Relocate and Open Key Sales and Operations Hub

TORONTO, June 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wireless Age Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:WLSA), a leading supplier of solutions to the Canadian wireless industry, today announced that mmwave Technologies Inc. is opening a third regional operations centre in Vancouver, British Columbia which will compliment existing operations in Toronto and Montreal.

In conjunction with the opening of this regional office, Mr. David MacKinnon, the company's Chief Technology Officer, will relocate from Ontario to Vancouver. The exact location is not yet determined, and will be somewhere in the Greater Vancouver Area. Mr. MacKinnon commented, "We expect to begin a few very exciting projects here any day now. I'm excited about the opportunity to support some very important company initiatives."

Company Chairman and CEO Brad Poulos stated, "The Vancouver location and relocation of the CTO will allow the company to accomplish several strategic objectives. As the site of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, the Greater Vancouver area and Whistler corridor promise to be very important additions to our existing client-base. These will potentially be very large contracts and we need to have a strong base from which to drive this business. Driven by recent oil, gas and other natural resource strength, Western Canada is the most robust economy in Canada at present. Having a strong sales, technical and operations team in this part of the country is critical to growing the business in this region. Finally, there are several arctic projects that are of interest to us, and Mr. MacKinnon has extensive experience in this area."
